NJ DCFS - Monmouth CountyGrace just finished the 7th grade, got great grades and has a lot of friends. She swims competitively and loves to dance. In her down time, she likes to listen to music and her favorite artist is Arianna Grande. Her favorite colors are pink, purple and blue. She is a respectful child and does well despite what is going on around her.
Grace asked her caseworker for a laptop as her parents are unable to afford one at this time. Grace excels in school but has to work extra hard to complete all of her work at school since she does not have a computer at home. Grace told her worker that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up and will be understanding of her students who cannot do their schoolwork at home.

"Grace was so excited that when she saw the laptop she started jumping up and down and actually cried! She hugged it and ran into the other room to show her grandpa. Grace told her caseworker that she never had anything so expensive and was extremely thankful and grateful. She said that she is happy to have it to do her schoolwork and now will not feel embarrassed that she was the only kid at school who didn’t have one. "
