Jyme has not had an easy start in life. First he was exposed to domestic violence and drug use in the home. CPS removed him and his brothers in 2013 and he was sent to live with an aunt and uncle who neglected him and were accused of physical abuse. After removal he was then sent to live with another aunt and uncle out of state. This placement did not work out so they he and his brothers were sent to an emergency shelter. When great grandma heard this she requested and was granted guardianship of Jyme and his 2 brothers so they would not be separated and stay with family. She is raising them on her monthly SS check and some food stamps. I have never seen Jyme without a smile despite his circumstances. He is a very sweet young man and loves people and animals. He doesn't complain or ask for anything because he knows how little grandma has.
