Cara had a rough time aging out of foster care at the age of 18. In an attempt to not have her brother and sister go through the same trials and tribulations she did, she took them under her wing. Cara loves to take care of her siblings. She hopes to one day be able to go back to school to become a Kindergarten Teacher!

When Cara turned 18 she was told by her foster mother she had to leave. She knew nothing of what it meant to be an adult, and has since struggled to make ends meet. She took in her younger siblings, and is working 2 jobs to care for them and herself. Cara was able to afford a new place for them to live but is struggling to find some extra funds to purchase household necessities such as pots, pans, towels, cleaning supplies, etc. She would love to be able to purchase those and some extras to really make their new house their forever home!
