Junie is about to move into her own apartment through the county's independent living program. She is working part time, but has had difficulty finding full time employment. She is saving the limited funds she saves for rent and groceries, but needs basic supplies for her apartment, such as pots, pans, dishes, cleaning supplies, etc.
Junie is 23 years old and lives in PA
Junie has experienced significant loss and chaos in her young life. Brought to the US from another country as a young child, she has lived between several family members. She experienced abuse in multiple homes and entered the foster care system with no reunification resource. Her father still resides outside the county and her mother's whereabouts are unknown. Junie has worked hard to graduate from high school, solidify her immigration status, and begin preparing for her future as an independent adult with limited supports.
