Jaquan has significant medical, physical and developmental challenges. He is non-verbal and confined to a wheelchair, but he loves being read to and seeing the pictures in the books. Jaquan is currently placed in a residential facility and there are limited picture books in hardback available in the facility to meet his needs.

Jaquan is an amazing young man, who has survived tremendous abuse in his young life. Yet despite being unable to speak and being confined to a wheelchair he still manages to light up a room with his beautiful smile and engaging eyes. Even though Jaquan has many medical and physical challenges he loves being read to and seeing the bright pictures in the books.
