Mikayla came into care with very few of her personal belongings. Creating artwork allows her to get away from anything that is going on in her life when she needs to. She is currently working on a school art project and could use some additional tools as well.
Mikayla is 22 years old and lives in TX
Mikayla is an amazing young lady who was recently placed in a foster home away from her siblings. Prior to being placed in a foster home, Mikayla spent a couple months in a shelter and had a very hard time there. She is now thriving in her new home. Mikayla was able to join in the school band and play the trombone. She also enrolled in honors classes and takes her schooling very serious. Mikayla would like to work with special needs children when she is older.
