A Nintendo Switch Lite for a teenage boy celebrating his adoption!

Posted Apr 9, 2020
Conner celebrates his adoption day today after spending many years moving from home to home. Seven years and seven placements to be exact. He would love to have a game system of his own to have fun in this time of quarantine, link up and play with friends and to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Conner is 17 years old and lives in NJ

Conner is a very intelligent and handsome young man. He loves to read and recently finished up the Harry Potter Series. Conner is a 5th grade student and he does well in school academically, behaviorally Conner faces some challenges. Conner came into care at age 6 when his mother neglected him and his two siblings and was no longer able to care for them due to her own mental health instability. Since then Conner has become legally free for adoption and has been separated in placement from his older brother. The losses of his mother and brother have been very challenging for Conner and although he continues working with a mentor and therapist , his feelings still sometimes come out in aggressive behaviors at school. Conner loves Legos and building things with his hands, he loves to eat and also to cook!
