Emily has been wanting to learn how to crochet for a long time now, and one of the awesome shelter staff members has brought in her stuff to teach her! She is having so much fun learning how to do it. She made some pot holders to bring on her visit for her mom this weekend. She really wants to learn how to make her own beanie as well and we found this kit that she literally jumped for! She's going to have so much fun crocheting her very own scarf and beanie!
Emily is 13 years old and lives in TX
Emily is a very well behaved and quiet young lady. We are excited to break her out of her shell because she is also extremely smart and an amazing artist! She likes to draw pictures for all of our younger girls to hang on their wall and I think she's becoming a unicorn-drawing expert! She also really loves her brother, they are almost inseparable. She is very soft spoken but her words really hold weight, she is wise beyond her years for sure. She is a true pleasure to have at the shelter.
