CPR Re-Certification Course for Alexis to help start building her future

Alexis’ has struggled to find a job that will support her daughter, sister, and herself financially, until recently. She was given the amazing opportunity to work in the local VA Hospital, but the only thing she needs to do before being able to start is her AMerican Heart Association BLS Certification. Granting this wish means Alexis will finally be able to start building her family’s future and it will help her become more financially stable and independent. Something Alexis has been looking forward to for a very long time.
Lexie is 28 years old and lives in CO
Lexie is a single mom to a beautiful little girl named Aurora, and is 27 weeks pregnant with a little boy. She also has guardianship of her teenage sister, Serenity. Lexie works in the medical field as a CNA and is in college studying psychology. Her goals are to get her CAC1 license to help people with addiction, be the best mom she can be, and to show her sister that despite the life they were both given at birth, that they have the power to make it better and control their own destiny. Lexie is most proud of her ability to overcome the obstacles of being a mom to a toddler, while also raising a teenager. She says, "I am doing something that my mother made seem impossible to do and I feel like I am doing an amazing job at it. "
