Jackson is a former foster youth who has been working hard to receive her degree in sociology. She is currently a junior at UT-Austin, transferring in from Texas Tech. Working hard in classes, staying involved in community-based events, and being apart of an organization on campus has helped Jackson build a strong foundation for all her career and education goals.

Jackson is asking for help getting her school books this semester. As a junior, the cost of books and supplies gradually increases and can make it more difficult for students to afford. Helping Jackson get the books she needs for her classes will increase the rate of success in those classes, and ultimately get her to her final destination: graduation.
