Hope's baby has been in the NICU since he was born eight weeks early with a cleft palate. She needs transportation funds to get to and from New Haven to be with her baby at the hospital while he is in the NICU and during/after his upcoming surgery. She is thrilled to be a new mom but needs help to cover these urgent and unexpected travel costs.
Hope is 22 years old and lives in CT
Hope is a warm, loving, resilient young woman who spent many years in foster care but still worked hard to keep up with her schoolwork and job. She is working hard to balance young motherhood and the completion of her GED. Her baby was born prematurely at 32 weeks and with a cleft palate. Hope is handling being a new mother and all the pressures that come with a child with special needs with grace and strength!
