George has made a commitment to do all he can to improve the foster care system. George has experienced the system himself, roughly five years ago, before moving in with his grandparents. His experience was an awful one that he feels more thankful to his grandparents for taking him in. George hopes to pave the way for a better system for future foster children. George would love a Chromebook to help him stay organized and on task with the rest of his team!
George is 19 years old and lives in NY
George is a great athlete! He loves playing sports and loves being involved in his community! George currently lives with his grandparents and thanks to the love and support he gets from them, he is thriving. George is also now committing his time and attention to improving his County's foster care system. George sits on a committee with the mission to identify what is wrong and broken with the foster system, and start to plan avenues to improve it.
