Ares has recently been struggling in school with being able to sit and remain calm during centers and group learning activities. This has significantly affected his ability to learn and due to the severity of his outbursts and behaviors that distract others, may affect his ability to remain in the school he has been in for some time now. Ares's therapists and other service providers believe that it would be beneficial for him to have a weighted lap lizard that he can use to help him remain calm and in control during these times.
Ares is 8 years old and lives in NE
Ares is a funny little guy who has been in foster care for more than half of his life. He loves being active and making people laugh. His vocabulary and insight on life is amazing as he is very small for his age. His little smile and voice can light up any room! He enjoys playing outside, playing with Play Doh and playing with his twin brother. He is also an amazing swimmer and wishes that it could be summer all year long!
