CD grew up in foster care and eventually aged out. She and her son experienced homelessness on multiple occasions. A few years ago, CD made the difficult decision to leave New Jersey and move to California. They lived in a shelter for a brief time but they are now doing extremely well. CD is working full time and loves her new home. Her son is thriving which reassures CD made the best decision for the both of them. She misses her dad, but speaks to him often.

CD made the ultimate sacrifice to pick up and leave everyone and everything she knew in New Jersey, to give her son a better life. They are both thriving and loving their new lives out in California. CD does not regret the move at all. However, she does miss her dad a lot. She talks to him everyday, but unfortunately does not know how much longer she will be able to do that. CD’s son and father have never met. She would absolutely love to give them the opportunity to meet and create a special bond. Spring break is coming up quick, and CD wants to ensure they are able to see her father as soon as possible.
