With the current situation in the world today, Karen has had to begin schooling at home and has no access to the internet at this time due to not having a computer. Karen is finally at a point in her schooling where she is getting straight A’s, for the first time in her schooling career, and she enjoys learning. She is at a complete disadvantage without a computer to assist her with completing her required schoolwork. Karen has been at a disadvantage her entire life, and a computer would allow her to continue her studies at home without falling behind. She would be able to continue receiving straight A’s, which would continue to build her confidence and her independence.
