Andre's goal is to graduate from school with his GED and then further explore career opportunities while helping support his family. Before the COVID19 crisis that led to the school shutdowns, Andre was on track to complete his GED by the end of the school year. Living in a rural area with little resources, he has experienced difficulty continuing his school work from home. His wish is to receive a laptop to better allow him the ability to complete his schoolwork remotely. His family and school are unable to provide a laptop for him at this time.
Andre is 21 years old and lives in VA
Andre is an introverted young man who enjoys sports, going fishing, and spending time with his family. He is described by others as loyal, trustworthy, and thoughtful. During the past few years, he displayed incredible fortitude and resilience through many adversities. At times, he felt like giving up but kept moving forward. He has worked hard to build his self-confidence and form meaningful relationships. His goal is to graduate from school with his GED and then further explore career opportunities while helping support his family.
