Breanna lost her job due to the COVID-19 crisis and has not gotten state benefits yet. She is expecting to need to wait another 2 weeks and her family is already running low on food and essentials. Assistance would be greatly appreciated for Breanna!
Breanna is 22 years old and lives in MO
Breanna had a very difficult childhood in foster care. She entered care before the age of 1 and had multiple placements, and two failed adoptions before aging out. Breanna remembers that her biological mom had 10 children and no space or proper living conditions for them. Her first failed adoption happened around the age of 5, when she told of the abuse she was experiencing. After many different placements after this, she moved in with what she thought would be her forever home. Unfortunately, on her 17th birthday she was kicked out. However, Breanna has created a beautiful life for herself and her family and is super proud of herself! She works with seniors, which she absolutely loves and is hoping to go back to school for her CNA.
