Joshua has been in foster care for many years and has found comfort in playing video games as he struggles socially to make connections with peers and others. He has taught himself how to make YouTube videos on how to advance in video games. He uses the computer as a way to have relationships, form connections, and communicate with others. He likes to help others with video games and hopes to one day create his own game.

In order for Joshua to continue creating his content he will need a new laptop as his broke recently. He wants to return to school but due to his social issues he prefers to further his education online. Joshua is very uncomfortable with in-person social interactions so playing video games and being on computers allows him to be comfortable while socializing with others. A laptop will allow Joshua to work on social connections, education, and possible future employment.
