Makayla entered foster care when she was 15 and stayed in until she aged out at the age of 21. She had a pretty rough childhood growing up, but refused to let her dreams fade away. She graduated from Aveda Phoenix Institute with her certification in Cosmetology and is super excited about opening her own salon!

Makayla just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on April 30th. She is over the moon in love with him. Due to the pandemic, she was let go from work right before he was born, so her boyfriend is the only one working currently. Makayla would love to help alleviate some of the stress her boyfriend is feeling by purchasing groceries!
