In April 2020, Fiona was supposed to undergo hip surgery with the hope that it will decrease, if not eliminate, her nerve pain that has rapidly increased over this past year. She has been experiencing ongoing nerve pain and with surgery not being rescheduled yet, she is needing alternative ways to cope with the pain. Fiona is often in pain and her body is often exhausted. She is interested in a weighted blanket to help relieve the pain and to keep her body warm so her body does not ache. This would help Fiona's pain in the summer and winter months, which would allow her to be in better spirits and have the energy to do other activities. Fiona can also use this blanket while she travels and stays in the hospital.
