Shawn wishes for a pair of Noise Canceling Headphones to make life easier for him until he gets hearing aids. Shawn will be able to use these to directly hear books, music, tv, and other important information to help him learn. Shawn has been loosing hearing and has hearing aids on order, but due to Covid-19 it’s taking a while for them to come.
Shawn is 17 years old and lives in NC
Shawn is a wonderful young man who struggles with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect. He has many special needs and requires a high level of care and attention. He likes being part of the family and likes working on fixing things. Shawn likes to eat Chick-fil-A and listen to music. Shawn loves helping people and wants to be a teacher someday.
