Carla wishes for a pair of Birkenstock Sandals to look awesome in. She had not been use to cleaning herself up and taking a little pride in herself; but since she has been taught to do it she is enjoying it very much. She is learning what it means to be a young lady and it’s helping her self confidence a lot. New sandals would help her feel great about herself and she plans to wear them back to school if COVID-19 allows her to go back.
Carla is 17 years old and lives in NC
Carla loves dancing, dressing up, and singing in her room. Her favorite colors are green and purple. Carla is an excellent student and loves helping with younger children. She is still adjusting to foster care; but is feeling relieved to be safe.
