NM CYFD - Sandoval CountyOlivia is an amazing young woman who is currently in foster care with her 2 younger siblings. She is hearing impaired and communicates via American Sign Language (ASL). She is the third generation in her family who is hearing impaired. Olivia is very close to her younger siblings. She has a really good sense of humor. Olivia can be shy, but she can also be really funny! She loves to write and compose free verse poetry. She loves to cook and try new recipes, and loves cooking Mexican food.
Olivia really needs her own laptop so that she can remain enrolled in SFSD. She recently moved from Santa Fe to Roswell and if she has a computer to use, she can enroll in SFDS in the fall and attend via online. Roswell NM does not have enough ASL interpreters for Olivia to get services that will greatly help her in school.
