A Laptop for Katlin to help her complete her school work

Katlin severely broke her wrist two months ago and had to undergo emergency surgery, with the promise of two more surgeries in the near future. On top of that, she was let go from her job as a waitress due to COVID-19. Katlin is going to school to complete her Business Management and Marketing degree's but does not have a laptop of her own. Having a laptop will help Katlin take better notes in class, so she will not have to try to write them out and risk more pain in her wrist. Katlin is so excited to create a better life for her and her son, and this laptop is one of many stepping stones Katlin is determined to cross over!
Katlin is 25 years old and lives in MO
Katlin was in joint custody through DYS and Children’s Division for 5 years. She was a little older than most foster youth so a lot of her time was spent in transitional living programs. As soon as Katlin turned 18, she signed paperwork saying she was no longer a ward of the state and was told good luck. Through trials and tribulations, Katlin made it work. She has a beautiful little boy who is the light of her world, a beautiful home and is taking the steps to enroll in college at Crowder College where she plans to finish her degree in Business Management and Marketing. She is beyond proud of herself for taking the initiative to get back into school to make a better life for her and her son, Cooper.
