Delaney is a medically complex 10 year old with Down Syndrome. She loves to ‘stim’, listen to nursery rhymes, and play with toys that light up. Her favorite place to be is in the water or playing on a phone under her weighted blanket. She’s super sweet. She’s primarily non-verbal, but loves to repeat songs or phrases she hears. She has a host of medical issues, but remains strong and has made amazing gains since being in care.

This iPad will allow Delaney to continue her education and make more gains. It will also allow her to rest and relax and have fun. There is an app that can be downloaded on the iPad that will be a “communication device”. This could open up a whole new world for her.
