Ahliria is a strong-willed, creative, and intelligent young woman. She enjoys watching movies, playing games with her family, and going swimming. She and her younger sister have just finalized their adoption with their aunt and uncle. Although her three-year journey in foster care was tough, particularly the separation from her mother and two younger siblings, she has been able to find ways to cope and develop her own identity. Along the way, she has faced and overcome many school challenges and adjustments. She has excelled in school this past year earning a place on the honor roll. She likes her school environment and has made friendships with other peers. Ahliria has shown strengths in communicating her thoughts and feelings along with showing the ability to adapt to different situations and environments.
