Foster Parent Association of WilkesJessica has always enjoyed taking care of her siblings and is having trouble adjusting to foster care and the idea of just being being a kid. Jessica is bouncy and happy at times but there are many times when she wants to be alone. She loves spending time with her foster family and especially enjoys fun family outings. School is new to her, and she is enjoying it very much. Jessica loves her stuffed animals and just having the same home everyday.
Jessica wishes for a Laptop to connect to remote school. Four of her subjects will be moved completely online and it will be necessary for her to zoom with her teachers for the others. She has not had a lot of experience with computers because she has not had access to one. There was a sudden change of plans in her school district not to return to in person classes because her community is not safe enough from COVID-19. There are many outbreaks where she lives and staying home is necessary.
