Ricardo is a senior student with goals of one day of having the chance to help other families. His college journey will be a long one and he will need some help along the way. He is looking forward to having a good year with support from his close peers. He would be very grateful if he were to receive a gift card to Barnes & Noble to help him buy books.

Ricardo is a young man transferring to UCR who supports himself with no contact with his family at all. He is eager to continue his higher education and has set himself up for a bright future. He has managed to get by with the support of friends who have become family but they are unable to help him financially. It is still too early to tell what Ricardo would like to do after graduation.
