Jewels has been in foster care for 1 year. She is currently learning to use the toilet instead of diapers. Jewels is scarred to use the normal size toilet in the restroom. Obtaining a transition potty system will encourage her to learn to no longer use diapers.
Jewels is 7 years old and lives in CA
Since entering foster care Jewels has made great progress in terms of reaching her developmental milestones. She has a play therapist who is working on reducing Jewels' anxiety. Jewels becomes anxious when told not to do something and will begin to cry. Her foster family and therapist continue to work on this with her. Once Jewels gets to know you she is a very friendly and affectionate little girl who will offer kisses and hugs. Jewels is also learning more words in order to expand her vocabulary. She loves to play in her pretend kitchen and enjoys playing with her blocks.
