Jay is currently homeless and while he has a stable place to stay within one week, he has nowhere to turn for 6 nights. Jay identifies as male, but because his vital documents do not reflect this, a stay in a shelter would be extremely traumatic, as he would be placed somewhere that goes against who he is as an individual. Please consider assisting Jay in having a safe space to sleep!
Jay is 26 years old and lives in NY
Jay is a former foster youth in NYC. He was adopted but this did not turn out to be a forever home, and he found himself essentially homeless, living with a girlfriend. Jay has recently received a Section 8 voucher and we are hoping he will have a permanent home very soon. He identifies as male, but his vital documents do not match his identity, which has led to other struggles. Jay is a charismatic and charming young man, with many dreams. Stable housing is the first step to ensuring he can meet his other life goals.
