Elpidia is an amazing young lady, well-mannered, and not afraid to ask for help when in need. Elpidia has thrived and shown resiliency by overcoming every obstacle that has been put in her path. She is currently attending employment programs in efforts to obtain a job in the field of child development. She is always willing to participate in support groups for those who have experienced similar trauma because she believes that voicing her story to others can inspire them to never lose hope, and to remind them that they, too, are resilient. Elpidia’s current goal is to intern at a preschool to obtain experience towards her child development career because she loves working with children, making them smile and feel safe.

Elpidia is currently expecting to give birth to her first born child in less than three moths. She is making all preparations necessary to baby proof her room and ensure that her child is welcomed into a comfortable and safe environment. She has all the tools ready such as CPR and First Aid Certified for infants, parenting classes, at home nursing services, and breastfeeding classes. Elpidia could benefit from a nursing pillow that she can use in her third trimester pregnancy to relax her belly on, but most importantly use it to support her and the baby when she begins to nursing her baby at home.
