New Books for Shakilah who is becoming very interested in reading

Shakilah started first grade this year and has become very good at reading! Her favorite books are the Junie B. Jones books. These books are perfect for her reading level and she finds them very funny. Her teacher has a ton of Junie B. Jones books in the classroom, but since they are not in school everyday she doesn't have much time to read them. She told her teacher she wishes she could have her own sets of books at home so she could continue reading on her own time.
Shakilah is 12 years old and lives in NJ
Shakilah is an adorable little girl, who just entered the first grade. She was in foster care for several years, but is now living with a relative. Despite her hardships, she remains the most engaging and carefree child.
