Geidy is a dedicated mother who hopes to give her children the life that she was not able to have when she was growing up. Geidy had a difficult experience in the system when she entered foster care at 14. She moved all around from home to home until she aged out at 18. It was scary not being able to keep in touch with her biological parents or her sisters. She missed her family so much but managed to adjust to her temporary new way of life. Although Geidy did have some generous and loving foster parents, others were not so nice and did not understand her. When she turned 18, she was glad to be released from foster care back to her biological parents.

Geidy has been struggling during the pandemic since she lost her job. She is very worried right now about not having everything her baby girl needs for the upcoming winter. She would be so grateful for some support to buy her diapers, wipes, warm clothing, and food. This is a stressful time and Geidy has been doing her best to stay afloat but it is getting more difficult each day! She hopes that with some support to get back on her feet she will be able to go back to school, earn her high school diploma, and get a job that she is proud of.
