Mia is a happy young mom whose laughter brings a smile to everyone’s face. Her goal is to obtain her associates degree in computer science, and to volunteer at Atlanta’s Homeless Shelter to work with children ages 5 and below. Mia has a strong work ethic and considers herself a self-starter. It appears that Mia’s determination to complete her goals will surely pay off in the future.

Mia walks 45 minutes every morning to get her daughter to daycare and herself to work. Then after her 8 hour shift she repeats her 45 minute walk back the other direction. While she is saving up for a car, her main mode of transportation is her feet. Walking so much has helped Mia get healthier and lose some weight and now she is in need of new clothing! She has gone down 2 pants sizes! She wishes for a gift card to TJ Maxx so she can pick out some new winter clothes and a winter coat that fits properly. She would be so grateful if this wish were granted!
