Geidy is a dedicated mother who hopes to give her children the life that she was not able to have when she was growing up. Geidy had a difficult experience in the system when she entered foster care at 14. She moved all around from home to home until she aged out at 18. It was scary not being able to keep in touch with her biological parents or her sisters. She missed her family so much but managed to adjust to her temporary new way of life. Although Geidy did have some generous and loving foster parents, others were not so nice and did not understand her. When she turned 18, she was glad to be released from foster care back to her biological parents.

Geidy wishes for a gas gift card so she has one less worry on her plate as she is struggling to be the best mother she can be for her baby. Every time she gets in the car she feels more stressed seeing the 'E' on her dashboard. This support with transportation would be a huge help as she works hard to get back on her feet!
