NJ DCFS - Atlantic CountyKareem is a fun loving and happy child. He continues to thrive in placement and has done very well supporting and nurturing his younger sister. He has developed an awesome sense of maturity and has the ability to explain the foster care system to his younger sister which helps ease her sadness and anxiety while navigating through the system. He remains optimistic and focused on his future. He does well in school and continues to be a positive influence for his peers and sister.
Kareem loves being outside and playing with his sister and friends. He taught himself how to ride a bike and learned how to balance. Kareem wants a hoverboard to help him develop his balance skills even further. He enjoys learning and teaching himself new tricks to show off to his sister and often makes her laugh in the process.
