Stephanie had a difficult start, entering foster care when she was 8 and remaining a ward of the state until she aged out in 2001. However, she poured herself into a new start and truly found herself when she became a mom to her two special needs boys.

Stephanie is on leave from work because her son's daycare has been closed due to COVID-19 . While leaving her job was a difficult decision, her boys are both special needs, and Stephanie is not able to enroll them in a traditional daycare setting that will meet their needs. She is terrified and anxious but she knows she is doing the best thing for her kids. Stephanie is just a few hundred dollars short on rent and having support would mean the world to her.
