Shawn wishes for a Carhartt cap to wear to help cover his shunt. When his hair is short the scar and shunt is very visible and sometimes he feels uncomfortable about this. This will help him cover it up when he needs to and feel more self confident.
Shawn is 17 years old and lives in NC
Shawn is a wonderful young man who struggles with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect. He has many special needs and requires a high level of care and attention. He likes being part of the family and likes working on fixing things. Shawn likes to eat Chick-fil-A and listen to music. Shawn loves helping people and wants to be a teacher someday.
