Jay has been without a coat or warm clothes the last few weeks as the temperatures in NYC have continued to drop. A warm coat would be an incredibly meaningful gift for this hardworking guy!
Jay is 26 years old and lives in NY
Jay is a former foster youth in NYC. He was adopted but this did not turn out to be a forever home, and he found himself essentially homeless, living with a girlfriend. Jay has recently received a Section 8 voucher and we are hoping he will have a permanent home very soon. He identifies as male, but his vital documents do not match his identity, which has led to other struggles. Jay is a charismatic and charming young man, with many dreams. Stable housing is the first step to ensuring he can meet his other life goals.
