Emily has no way to purchase food for herself, and going to Target to get some simple, ready made meals will help to keep her hunger pangs at bay. Since she is homeless, she will need calorie dense meals to sustain her throughout the day. We know brighter days are ahead for Emily, and this gift-card will make a real difference in her life.

Emily's time in foster care was not easy, but as she reflects on her time in care she feels it did help her realize her self-worth. She aged out of the foster care system, battled homelessness, but fortunately has recently secured housing. Emily is committed to stabilizing herself, keeping her housing, and working towards her personal goal of gaining independent living skills.
