NJ DCFS - Monmouth CountySophia is a bright young girl who tries her best in school. She really enjoys art and computer class. She is a little behind in reading, but her school is working with her and she has shown improvement despite the different learning environment this year. Sophia loves to listen to music and dance with her younger sister.
Sophia tries very hard in school. She is a little behind in some areas, primarily with regards to her reading level which causes delays in other academic areas. She is in need of her own Chromebook to help her with her virtual learning and homework assignments. Her family does not have adequate technology for all four children in the home to attend school at once. They often share their mother's cell phone or one older tablet that they have. This computer would help Sophia take massive strides in her education. She will be extra motivated to practice her reading and she will have more opportunities to connect with her teacher and tutors.
