NM CYFD - Sandoval CountyDaniel, aka Danny, is a really amazing young man. He recently got his very first apartment. Danny spent a great majority of his life in foster care and aged out at 18. He has worked very hard to get himself stable and overcome his past traumas. He has very few connections to family and he is learning to make friends in a new area. He has done a lot of work to get where he is today. Both physically and in having overcome some legal challenges.
Danny just got his very first apartment. He saved his own money for the deposits and a bed and some kitchen items, but did not have enough to buy any additional furniture. He is working hard on getting his GED and a good job. Having support with buying a new couch, chairs and a coffee table would mean he could spend his money he has saved up on food and utilities. Danny would be forever grateful for this assistance. He has come so far and dreams of finally feeling safe and settled in his own space.
