Hope's baby was born eight weeks early with a cleft palate, and has been in and out of the hospital since his birth. In this period between surgeries he is growing so quickly, and Hope could use some assistance with essentials such as diapers, wipes and clothes. She is demonstrating heart-warming resilience in caring for her son and making healthy decisions, but could use some help to cover these supplies while dealing with his medical issues.
Hope is 22 years old and lives in CT
Hope is a warm, loving, resilient young woman who spent many years in foster care but still worked hard to keep up with her schoolwork and job. She is working hard to balance young motherhood and the completion of her GED. Her baby was born prematurely at 32 weeks and with a cleft palate. Hope is handling being a new mother and all the pressures that come with a child with special needs with grace and strength!
