Sumaya, 24 years old, NJ |
Wish submitted by:
OSW - NJ Foster ScholarsSumaya has been in foster care since she was 16. She is a proud member of the NJFC Scholars Program, which provides funding for youth who have experienced foster care and are seeking a post-secondary degree at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or a career/technical school. Sumaya is looking forward to a bright future after graduation, and is focusing on a career in law enforcement.
Sumaya is simply amazing. She is beating the odds and has enrolled in college to pursue her dreams of higher education. Being a full time college student is hard, and can be even harder without the support of a traditional family structure. Let's make sure that her birthday doesn't pass without the chance to celebrate her! Grant this wish and show Sumaya some birthday love, and we will send her a special gift card to her favorite website Amazon!
