Laura spent 3 years in foster care. During this time the hardest challenge she faced was remembering who she was. There were a few times she thought she lost herself, but through grit and determination, Laura was able to re-center and focus on being better. Laura loves being out in nature. Hiking trails with waterfalls, going to the beach, and working on her art are just a few of Laura’s favorite things to do.

Laura's apartment complex does not have on site laundry services. That means, Laura has to take time to go to a laundromat to ensure she has clean clothes. Laura is extremely busy with work and school and often times only has time to go to the laundromat, when they are closed. Laura would love a portable washer to keep in her apartment to make sure she has clean clothes whenever she needs them!
