Leah's daughters birthday is this month and she was so excited to plan a surprise picnic for her at the park. Unfortunately, their electric bill was higher then anticipated and Leah will not have the funds to be able to purchase a special lunch for her daughter, let alone enough groceries to get through the month. Leah will be so excited to pick out all of her daughters favorite treats to bring with them as well as be able to provide meals for the rest of the month!
Leah is 31 years old and lives in KS
Leah was put into foster care after running away from her abusive parent when she was 12 years old. Unfortunately, after running away, her mother said she didn't want her back, so Leah entered foster care and her life changed forever. She never again played with toys, watched movies, or felt like doing anything "childish". However, Leah persevered and she is now a mom which has restored all of her hope and love.
