After years couch surfing and the last 6 months in a city shelter, Jay moved into his first real home this week! He has been able to gather most essential home goods and furniture but he is in need of support in buying TV to complete his apartment. Please consider giving Jay a wonderful house warming gift!
Jay is 26 years old and lives in NY
Jay is a former foster youth in NYC. He was adopted but this did not turn out to be a forever home, and he found himself essentially homeless, living with a girlfriend. Jay has recently received a Section 8 voucher and we are hoping he will have a permanent home very soon. He identifies as male, but his vital documents do not match his identity, which has led to other struggles. Jay is a charismatic and charming young man, with many dreams. Stable housing is the first step to ensuring he can meet his other life goals.
