A Microwave for Avery's late night studying snacks

Avery is having a great time imagining his dorm room at college this fall. Now that he has gotten some assistance from a generous donor at One Simple Wish to decorate his room, he is thinking about the other "essentials" like a microwave! Popcorn is one of his favorite snacks, and he would love to be able to satisfy those late night cravings when he is staying up to finish a paper on time. This will make his college experience more like a typical student's might be, and not like an aged-out foster kid.
Avery is 21 years old and lives in IN
Avery has been in the system for over 8 years, which has taught him great resilience. He works part time at the local Wendy’s and when he’s not working, he’s either in school, hanging out with friends, or playing games on his gaming system. Avery does weight lifting in the school’s gym, and loves to dabble in painting and other crafts. Avery plans to go to college for an engineering or business degree, he’s yet to decide which he’ll pick!
