For the first time in her life, Marilyn has her own bedroom. She is so excited about this and is always trying to find ways to decorate it. When asked what she would like for her birthday, she said "Can I please, please, pretty please have a skylight so that I can make my room fancy and happy?"
Marilyn is 9 years old and lives in GA
Marilyn is an amazing young lady who is in foster care with her younger brother. Marilyn and her brother are super protective of each other. She loves reading and riding her bike. She is excited about returning to school so that she can see all of her friends again. Marilyn's foster mom describes her as energetic, kind hearted and a bright and intelligent young lady. She misses her mom and grandmother but is adjusting well in care.
