Yvette is a former foster youth and college student who continues to strive past the obstacles to reach her educational goals. She is focused on completing college, and would be grateful for support in securing her textbooks. Yvette is a hard worker. Receiving this Barnes and Noble gift card will make her one step closer to accomplishing her educational goals.
Yvette is 23 years old and lives in CA
Yvette is a freshman at university. In high school she was very involved in marching band and competed at a very high level at many regional and state tournaments. With Yvette and her sister (both foster youth) attending four-year universities they are beating many odds as foster youth pursuing college degrees. It is still too early to tell what Yvette wants to do after graduation, but she is very hardworking and has many interests (i.e. art, science, music) whatever she does we are sure she will be successful.
